About

Michaela is a BANT Registered Nutritional Therapist, nutrition coach and psychologist. Her passion is supporting her clients to implement changes that bring their bodies back into balance so that they feel better and enjoy their lives to the fullest. 

 

Like most people in the nutrition space, she battled with health issues. Determined to get to the root of her problems, she studied nutrition and how our bodies work, applied this to herself and restored her health, energy and zest for life. But then life threw a curveball at the end of 2023 with a cancer diagnosis that meant two months of intensive treatment. This successfully dealt with the tumour but resulted in severe digestive and bladder issues, compromised immune and metabolic health and resilience levels that were rock bottom. 

 

She is grateful to have started with no other health issues and good fitness levels. Together with her own knowledge and the support of her peers, she recovered in a matter of months, with no lasting side effects.  She understands how exhausting and frustrating the healing process can be and the emotional turmoil it causes. Of course, this is made worse by so much misinformation and noise in the media. She wants to empower her clients to take control of their health, based on evidence-based, personalised nutrition and life-style recommendations that will deliver tangible improvements. 

 

Her recent experience was big reminder that without a well-functioning digestive system, there is no health. In the end we are not what we eat, but what we are able to absorb. And there is so much we can do to improve our digestion that will impact every other system in your body from immunity, metabolism to brain health.

 

Her motto is progress over perfection and how small sustainable changes made consistently over time will lead to big results. She has experienced this for herself and sees this time and time again with her clients.

Michaela was an incredible help to me at a very overwhelming time in my life when my diet had taken a real back seat. Her background in psychology as well as nutrition and her passion for both meant she was able to help me unpick the emotional difficulties that were affecting how and what I was eating and get me back to prioritising my health and reducing the symptoms I was experiencing. What I like about Michaela is that she never judges anybody for the way they’ve done things or how they do things. She is just there to help you to improve your diet and general health.
