Julie Babis
"Good health begins in the gut" is a saying attributed to Hippocrates. Modern science suggests that he was right: a healthy digestive system is fundamental to good health. Hi, I'm Julie, nutritional therapy practitioner and NLP coach. I'm physically located in Windsor, but I do online consultations, so I can work with you, wherever you are. There are three cornerstones to my approach: Nutrition: what, when and how you eat Stress management: mindset and self-care Movement: using your body My starting point is always you: we are all unique and have different preferences, lifestyles and needs. I meet you where you are to formulate a plan together.

About
My primary specialist area is digestive health, in particular managing:
GERD and acid reflux
IBS/IBD
Food intolerances
I also work with people who have a diagnosed health condition that they are seeking a solution to, and with preventatively with people who maybe have family members diagnosed with a condition that they would like to avoid, or who just want to stay healthy during their later years. In many health conditions, digestive issues are often part of the picture.
I am happy to work alongside medical practitioners, and I always take into consideration prescribed medications when I work with diagnosed medical conditions.

My ethos is that good nutrition and a healthy lifestyle don’t have to be complicated. I take into account individual preferences, values, work and other commitments and enable you to find a way of achieving your goals without compromising on enjoyment, and I’m there to support you every step of the way. My approach is practical and implementable: I don’t want to be preparing different meals for different members of the family, and I assume you don’t either.
What qualifies me to guide you along your journey to optimum health? I have a masters degree in personalised nutrition, along with a practice diploma. I am also a certified NLP practitioner: coaching is very much part of my practice. I’m registered with the professionals bodies BANT and CNHC.
I have experienced the misery of IBS and acid reflux first hand. Researching how to manage my own condition led me to train as a nutritional therapist. I do the research so you don't have to!
