About
Katherine Corsan is a BANT-registered nutritionist who specialises in IBS and digestive health. As a former hospital nurse, Katherine is no stranger to how distressing it is when the body goes wrong. Her own health problems in her thirties meant going to work, socialising, and even just leaving the house revolved around her symptoms. She was told there’s no known cure and she’d need medication for life yet, inspired to find a dietary and lifestyle solution, Katherine successfully turned her own health around and is now both symptom and medication-free.
Katherine trained for three years in Biomedicine and Nutrition and graduated with distinction. In the years since, she has studied IBS with MONASH university, undertaken pharmacology training on medication-supplement interaction, is an accredited acid reflux practitioner, and completes hundreds of hours of gut health CPD annually. Katherine’s busy nutrition clinic is in the centre of Salisbury. As she is also a Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulated phlebotomist, her clients have the option of private blood testing in clinic.
Years of healthcare experience have taught Katherine that to tame an unhappy gut you need the right knowledge and professional support. Katherine’s clients see fantastic results because she takes time to understand the root cause of what brings every individual to the point they’re at today, and her core values of professionalism, compassion and practicality underpin every client’s experience.
When not in clinic or with her head buried in the latest nutrition research, you’ll find Katherine either surrounded by animals, spending more time than is healthy watching Netflix, or else being embarrassingly ungraceful in a barre class.
